Northern Containers: Self-Storage – Don’t have space on your premises for a storage container? Ask us about our competitive on-site self-storage. If you require extra storage space but do not have enough room at your premises for a storage container to be delivered or positioned then our on-site self-storage area is the perfect solution to your storage problem. Our expansive self-storage area is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and our self-storage units are available for hire on a short-term or long-term basis. Northern Containers self-storage units are available in a small range of sizes (subject to availability) and would be an ideal solution for: Storage of personal effects when moving house Temporary storage for people traveling abroad Storage for students in between accommodation or spending summer at home Safely storing a motorcycle or car for those without access to a garage Tradesmen without their own premises who need to securely store stock, tools and plant Storing collectables Archiving Our self-store containers are fitted with a lockbox and a CISA container lock with two keys is provided. The self-storage area is protected by CCTV as well as manned overnight security to ensure that your possessions are safe and secure outside of our operational hours. Our self-storage site is situated within 5 minutes driving time of the M62/M1 motorway network allowing for quick and easy access at any time of the day from Leeds, Wakefield and the wider West Yorkshire area. We are located on several major bus routes: 3 miles from Leeds city centre and 8 miles from Wakefield city centre with buses every 10 minutes or less during the day if you need to reach us but do not have access to a car. We strongly recommend that you obtain insurance for the full value of the goods that you will be storing prior to taking a self-storage unit on hire. Our self-storage area is very secure and break-ins are an incredibly rare occurrence at our premises however the old adage “better safe than sorry” does apply here, as goods stored in our self-storage area are not insured under any policies held by Northern Containers.
